When I address an audience I attempt to speak as if I were addressing each person individually! I desire to do the same for you. I will briefly address our services and then share my background that has led up to the development of Image Builders. In working with you, as an individual, the ultimate goal is for you to feel positive about who you are on the inside and to be able to communicate that image on the outside, while building positive relationships and creating lasting impressions. Our specialty services are designed to assist you with career transitions, provide wedding survival assistance for the Bride and Groom, and/or to address LIFE-style design renewal for persons requiring accommodations.
We assist business owners, human resource managers, sales managers, and public relations specialists to design incentive programs that improve employee retention and productivity AND/OR to create customer loyalty programs. As study after study reveals that a “good image” can create lasting impressions, we provide assistance to your organization in a variety of areas including individual image consultations, development of dress code policies and uniform programs, providing Personality Plus™ training, etc.
About myself…
Holding certifications in Image, Color, and Skin Analysis and Mapping I have developed what I call The Art and Science of Signature Self-Packaging™, a process to assist you to “build” your image. Your consultation session is called an “a-PRAISE-al” because it is designed to inspire and praise you! The goal of our time together is to empower you to “take charge” of the outward expression of your inner being and to reflect your purpose inside-out…ultimately your image should enable you to build relationships and create lasting impressions. My goal is make this experience fun, simple, revealing and cost effective, while providing a systemized approach that equips you with putting on your “armor” to face the world with confidence!
As a Certified Color Analyst, I must address COLOR. Color is both the foundation and the summation of image! Because colors are simply different wave lengths, each color impacts the beholder physiologically, psychologically, and emotionally/socially. Color makes a difference with skin tone and acquiring a look of health. Wearing the right colors provides for a smooth complexion; a natural face lift; takes 10 pounds off your face; and provides for ultimate communication with eye contact! Having researched the historical therapeutic use of colors, I share how captivating, celebrating, and communicating with color in your dress and your surroundings can improve your overall well-being!
As a Certified Personality Plus™ Trainer, my goal is to enable you to understand your own and other’s behaviors, thereby empowering you to identify stressors, motivators, and to build relationships. Whether you are struggling to understand your toddler, teenager, spouse, parent, or co-worker; I will attempt to assist you to learn how to relax in your relationships by accepting and supporting other’s strengths and growing through the challenges. If you are a business owner, sales manager, personnel director, or public relations specialist you will come to a better understanding of what motivates people! Whether your goal is to create incentives for your employees that build retention and productivity OR to design programs that instill ultimate customer loyalty, a customized program can be designed to make you profitable!
As a Certified Occupational Therapist with a master’s degree in Gerontology I am uniquely qualified to assist individuals with special needs associated with aging changes and/or disabilities with regards to incentives and impression management. Work experience in healthcare and industry in the area of ergonomics, work place safety and injury prevention, and rehabilitation of injured workers has provided me with a unique understanding of what motivates employees and cultivates productivity. Having experience in direct and indirect service and sales, I have a unique understanding of presenting oneself as the “package” in “serving the customer” and “making the sale”! Experience in academia prepared me to work with persons transitioning between academia and the workplace.
Having directly experienced “downsizing”, along with my husband, at different points in our careers, I have first hand experience in dressing and working to make positive career transitions. Having 3 teenage and young adult daughters has provided me with experience in working with young people on issues in skin care to discovering one’s distinct unique “Signature Self-Packaging”.
